Знадобиться

Pastry:

185g plain flour

100g unsalted butter

3tsp caster sugar

1egg yolk, beaten with 3tsp water

Filling:

155ml maple syrup

125g demerara sugar

3 eggs

2tbsp instant coffe granules

185g pecan nuts

Як готувати

Sift flour into a bowl, rub in butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs, then stir in sugar.Stir in beaten egg yolk.Cover chill for 30 min.

Preheat oven to 190C.Use 20cm flan tin.

To make filling, in saucepan, heat together maple syrup demerara sugar until sugar has dissolved, cool slightly.

Beat together eggs coffee-flavoured milk-stir in maple syrup mix and nuts.

Pour into prepared tin bake in the oven for 30-40 min.
