2-1 / 2 cups flour

7/8 cup milk

4 tbsp butter

1 egg beaten for brushing on top

2 tbsp sugar

1/2 tsp salt

2 tsp yeast

Filling

3 oz. cream cheese

1-1 / 2 tbsp sugar

1/2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tsp beaten egg

1/4 tsp vanilla

Frosting

1/2 cup confectioner 's sugar

1 tbsp milk

1/8 tsp vanilla extract

Put the ingredients above in your bread machine on dough cycle. When done, on lightly floured suface roll out dough into 12" x 15" rectangle and combine sugar and cinnamon - 1-1 / 2 tbsp sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon and sprinkle over it and roll into log. Brush seam with beaten egg- slice log into 12 one inch pieces. Let rise 30 min or whatever time you need till doubled

Combine the filling ingredients and make a hole in center of each bun and fill with 2 tbsp of filling. Brush rolls with remaining beaten egg. Bake in preheated oven 350 deg. for 10 to 15 min until golden brown- cool and then frost by drizzling.

Yield 12 Danishes ... they are wonderful
